Education Unlocks Climate Action

Our world is facing a climate emergency. There is hope but urgent action is needed now.
Young people are leading the way in calling for more to be done to ensure everyone is able to learn more about climate change and understand the solutions to this crisis. These cross-curricular activities for ages 7-11 and 11-16 explore the importance of education in unlocking climate action.
Learners will:
- Discuss their thoughts and feelings about climate change
- Think critically about the importance of climate education
- Find out about some of the inspiring ways in which Theirworld’s Global Youth Ambassadors are using education to take action for the planet
- Work collaboratively to take climate action collective climate action in their school and community
