British Council International School Award
Created by
The British Council International School Award supports schools around the UK with embedding international learning into their curricula.
The award provides a framework to help schools develop an international dimension. Working for the award can give pupils and teachers a new global perspective and the skills to work in a global economy. It also creates links between teachers from other countries, facilitating the sharing of best practice and the development of new skills
The award has three entry points, so schools can apply for the level which best suits their stage of international work.
Being a Global Learning Programme Expert Centre (England) or Lead School (Wales) will support re-accreditation.
