Action Learning Poster
Created by
This free poster for schools and youth groups has been produced by Think Global as part of our Europe-wide SUPPLY CHA!NGE campaign. It uses real examples to explore the issues involved in creating an effective action campaign. And it helps teachers and students reflect on how they can take action for a better world.
Active citizenship is an important part of life in schools and youth groups. Activities, from writing to your local MP to organising an action day, can be motivating and fun for young people, as well as supporting local and global campaigns. Such experiences can also have huge educational potential, offering opportunities to develop young people’s understanding and skills as active, responsible citizens.
This poster provides ideas and tips to ensure that the young people you work with have the opportunity to really participate, and through research and discussion explore the questions raised by taking part.
