Unravelling the Thread: The Story of Cotton
Created by
This film is all about where our clothes come from and the journey of cotton from field to fashion. It looks at some of the injustices faced by cotton farmers and garment workers in this very complex supply chain and the ways in which Fairtrade seeks to address these issues.
With accompanying activities to explore the topic further, this film is suitable for students aged 11 and above.
We are excited to share our brand new film which explores where cotton comes from and some of the difficulties faced along the supply chain. This resource helps young people understand the impacts of fast fashion and highlights the difference consumers can make to people’s lives through their buying choices.
