Developed by the Faith and Belief Forum, this two-part session introduces participants to tools and techniques that will help them to be able to ask and answer questions about sensitive questions such as faith, belief and identity with greater skill and confidence. The resources are primarily for teachers and schools but can also be used by youth workers and youth groups.
Below you will find a lesson plan, PowerPoint presentation, worksheets and a number of handouts and posters that will enable you to run an engaging session for your group.
Session objectives:
• Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own and others’ identities.
• Participants will understand the impact that asking and answering questions about sensitive issues can have on others.
• Participants will be introduced to tools to be able to ask and answer questions about sensitive issues more skilfully.
