Watch the discussion: How can teachers support climate action during lockdown?

On Monday 25th January, we held a fantastic panel discussion on ways in which teachers can support student action on the climate action in lockdown. Check out the video.

To officially celebrate the relaunch of Global Dimension, we hosted a 1 hour live discussion on Monday 25th January, bringing together teachers, young people and one of the world’s leading environmentalists to ask:

How can teachers support student action on the climate crisis in lockdown?

Our fantastic experts Johan Rockstrom, Kulvinder Johal, Charlie Sweetman and Lily Henderson shared their tips and ideas on how you can inspire, motivate and integrate climate education into your remote learning during lockdown.

What next?

There are 3 things you can do now to support your students in taking climate action:

  1. Continue the conversation by sharing your thoughts, questions and resources in the discussion section of our Climate Crisis In Focus topic page.
  2. Check out our upcoming climate action campaign, and sign up to be the first to receive the accompanying teaching resources, short films and Jonathon Porritt’s latest e-book
  3. Support the work Charlie and Lily are doing with Teach the Future by signposting students to www.teachthefuture.uk for volunteering opportunities, and completing their teaching survey here: bit.ly/Climate_Education
